1. What we do

Dorm Ryde provides members-only transportation for students within a defined local service area (the “Service”). Access is granted through a paid monthly membership. Dorm Ryde is not an emergency service and is not a common carrier.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18+ and a student or otherwise eligible member. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and comply with these Terms.

3. Membership & ride limits

Plans include a ride allotment per month (e.g., 30 or 40 rides) with a per-ride radius (typically up to 6 miles per ride). Unused rides do not roll over. We may throttle or schedule rides during peak times. Service hours and coverage zones are posted in your member portal and may change.

4. Booking & conduct

Book via SMS (“RIDE”) or the member portal form. You must be ready at pickup within the stated grace window. No illegal activity, harassment, open containers, or unsafe behavior. We may refuse or end a ride for safety reasons.

5. Availability

Rides are subject to driver availability, traffic, weather, and safety. ETAs are estimates. We may suspend or modify service temporarily (e.g., severe weather, events).

6. Fees & billing

Memberships auto-renew monthly until canceled. Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). Taxes may apply. Late fees or card update requests may be sent if a charge fails.

7. Cancellations & no-shows

Member-initiated ride cancellations must be made before dispatch (see portal for cut-off). No-show or late-cancel rides may count against your monthly balance. We may assess a reasonable fee for repeated abuse.

8. Refunds

Memberships are non-refundable once the billing cycle starts, except where required by law or as stated in our Membership & Billing Policy. You can cancel next month anytime before the renewal date.

9. Safety disclaimer

We vet drivers and emphasize safety, but no service can guarantee risk-free travel. You agree to use judgment and comply with driver instructions that relate to safety.

10. Prohibited use

No reverse engineering, scraping, unauthorized access, or interference with our systems; no using the Service for commercial passenger transport or reselling rides.

11. Intellectual property

All site/app content is owned by Dorm Ryde or its licensors. You may not use our branding without permission.

12. Third-party services

We use providers such as WebSynq/GoHighLevel (member portal/CRM), an SMS provider, and Stripe (payments). Their terms apply where you interact with them.

13. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DORM RYDE AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. We’ll post the effective date and, for material changes, notify members via email or SMS.

16. Governing law & venue

3) Membership & Billing Policy (Refunds/Cancellations)

Plans & renewals

Payment processing
